The InMotion V14 is one of the most powerful 16-inch wheels currently available. Due to the smaller diameter tire and the 134-volt system, this wheel has plenty of torque for all of your off-road needs. The InMotion V14 is the first electric unicycle to include a progressive spring, which has a front-end stiffness of 600 pounds per inch and a rear-end stiffness of 970 pounds per inch.

The stock tire grips the ground with ease, allowing you to feel comfortable when riding through rough off-road terrain, light gravel, and general street riding. The stock spiked pedals are the same as the InMotion V13. The included power pads can easily be adjusted due to the pre-applied Velcro to feel loose or tight for better control when cruising or jumping. The stock taillight is quite bright, and the headlight's tilt angle can be adjusted to your liking.

The InMotion V14 has a top speed of 43 mph and a maximum range of 70 miles. We recommend buying the Samsung 50S model if you prefer to push your wheels to the limit, as the Samsung 50S cells allow the wheel to draw 25 amps per cell, allowing you to brake harder, accelerate slightly faster, and you should experience less voltage sag. The Samsung 50GB batteries should be sufficient for most riders, as you can still draw a maximum of 10 Amps per cell.

SUSPENSION

The InMotion V14 is the first electric unicycle to include a progressive spring, which has 17 levels of dampening, 8 levels of rebound, and a preload adjustment knob. The suspension system will allow you to have up to 85mm of travel. The progressive spring has a front-end stiffness of 600 pounds per inch and a rear-end stiffness of 970 pounds per inch. This means that, unlike other wheels, you will not need to choose between a soft or stiff spring, as it will progress into the higher amount depending on how high or hard the drop is. InMotion tested the V14's suspension system with a 198-pound rider; the unit did not bottom out when landing from a one-meter drop.

The InMotion V14 features a smart BMS that allows you to view the voltage of each individual battery cell in order to keep a close eye on the overall battery health. All four batteries can easily be removed and replaced as the battery cables are located underneath the foam near the top panel. The InMotion V14 includes a 134 Volt 3 Amp charger; however, InMotion has stated that you can fast charge the unit up to 80% in one hour at 16 Amps.

I've only had this wheel for a month and so far I'm absolutely loving it! I need a bit more practice before I'm totally one with it, but I'm getting close. I'm really glad I started off with an entry level wheel because I could see this being way harder if I had started with this one. Starting off with a lighter wheel was definitely a good decision. The V14 was a great choice for a second wheel. It's very heavy and tough lugging around to parks, but it's worth it once I'm on it. Highly recommend!
